The power of good design:
value addition, longevity, emotion.

Industrial design is important in every industry…

Whether it is small and medium sized companies or large corporations, who are trying to establish themselves in the market. Industrial design makes a product attractive and appealing to consumers. The appearance of a product can be a key factor in the customer’s purchase decision. In other words, the success or failure of a product may depend on how it looks.

Design not only helps to beautify the product. With good design, it is even possible to increase sales volumes and at the same time reduce production costs. Of course, a designer can design a nice envelope for your product during the last development phase but you should be aware that this will cause you to lose many valuable opportunities.

The best and most profitable products are overall concepts that do not make concessions in technology and appearance. For this reason, it is advisable to involve a designer in the development process from the first kick-off meeting. Designers are familiar with new trends and technologies. They have a flair for the demands of the users, so that from the beginning valuable information and ideas can be incorporated into a new project.

Together with you, a design will be developed, that is tailored to your company’s DNA and also takes into account all the needs of your customers. Here you can find help in the search for innovative technical solutions from the first brush stroke to serial production.

IMPORTANT

From industrial design everyone can benefit, whether yours is a start-up-entrepreneurial firm with a great idea, or a large multi-national group.

Industrial designers are made acquainted with a very wide range of products during their studies. These range from complex automobiles and huge industrial machines to ballpoint pens, from furniture and household items to ambient light and also for example user – interfaces.

Ultimately, every product can benefit from a designer’s mind set. Look around, all around you will encounter objects whose appearance and functions have once begun with a thought and a brush stroke.

A project is paid (for example, similar to craftsmen and tax advisors) after the actual work. Therefore, please request a non binding offer: hello@deisen-design.com. Each project is different : )

Actually, YES!

If a client has only a certain investment capital available, it is possible to pay a pre-agreed base fee which guarantees that the design will be produced later. Once the product is on the market, the designer will be involved in sales.

The lower the base fee, the higher the later the designer’s share. Both contractors and designers share the economic risk and the initial investment costs are greatly reduced.

A win-win situation.

Don’t worry! A design is not developed by the designer alone. Good design only takes the right forms in cooperation with the client. For this reason, a regular consultation is held and the customer is involved in the design process.

Secrecy is CAPITALIZED here. Prior to each project launch, a written secrecy agreement is made to ensure that information is not put into the wrong hands. In addition, the design studio is well protected from prying eyes.

Unless otherwise agreed, the sole rights of use of the finished design will be transferred to the client, after the order has been completed.

Yes! If the client is not a private person.

Anyone who commissions a designer in Germany (whether web, graphic or industrial designer) has since 1981 been legally obliged to pay a fee in addition to the “Künstlersozialkasse”. At the moment it is 4.2%. In the case of a fee of €1,000, a levy of €42 to the KSK is payable. Designers are not obligated to communicate this to the client. At this point, however, I am happy to do so to avoid misunderstandings.

This law also includes photographers, artists, editors, musicians, advertising agencies, publicists, proof readers, copywriters, PR people and so on.

Easy, as soon as possible!

Of course! That’s no problem. No project is too small and is processed with the same priority and as much lifeblood as a big one.
